Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a travel Med/Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Arlington, TX. The role requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and a BLS certification. Expect 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, and a tax-free stipend may be offered.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts.
• Travel nursing assignment in Med/Surg.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op.
• Administer and record prescribed medications, report adverse reactions.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during examinations.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
• Participate in discharge planning and patient education.
