TotalMed RN in Arlington, TX is seeking a Med/Surg travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 36 hours per week, with 12-hour day shifts. Immediate travel nurse opening in Arlington, TX, with 1-2 years acute care experience and BLS required.

The position involves patient assessments, ongoing care, and educating families. Responsibilities include bedside care, medication administration, wound dressings, IVs, and discharge planning, in a fast-paced Med/Surg setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Travel RN with MedSurg specialization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients (pre- and post-op).
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
