Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Tennessee. The role covers 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, in a travel capacity.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of acute care experience, must have BLS, and is prepared for a fast-paced Med/Surg setting. Benefits and a tax-free stipend are noted as part of the package.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• 1 year of acute care experience (2 years preferred).
• Travel nursing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside Med/Surg care for adult patients.
• Administer and document medications, monitor for adverse reactions.
• Assist with pre-/post-op care and patient education.
• Perform dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts.
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments and participate in discharge planning.
