Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel assignment in Anniston, Alabama. The role requires 36 hours per week across 12-hour night shifts, and is a 13-week travel engagement.

Requirements include an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS certification, and 18 months of Med/Surg acute care experience. Benefits and agency support are provided for housing, credentialing, health, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Active RN License must be valid.
• Degree from accredited nursing program required.
• BLS Certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Med/Surg setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures.
• Attend to patients treated with pharmaceuticals to manage illness.
• Complete assignments made by physicians.
• Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
• Assess changes in patient's health status and perform various treatments.
• Administer medication.
• Meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care.
