Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a Med/Surg Neuro position in Kalamazoo, MI, on a 13-week assignment with 48 hours per week and 12-hour days.

The role covers neuro and ortho patients, telemetry, and oncology care in a diverse inpatient setting. Licensure, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS, and a willingness to travel are required. Housing stipends and benefits are offered as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required.
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient unit with 27 beds; care for neuro, ortho, medical/surgical, and oncology patients.
• Telemetry monitoring in a dedicated monitor room; no cardiac drips.
• Work 4×12 hour day shifts (7:00–19:30); floating to other units as needed.
• Weekly 48 hours; travel assignment with Cerner EMR.
