American Traveler, LLC. seeks a Travel RN - Med/Surg for Kalamazoo, MI, night shifts on a 13-week assignment. The role requires MI RN licensure, BLS, NIHSS, and strong post-surgical competencies. Work 3x12s with up to 1:6 patient ratios and floating to MS units, ICU, and ED as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license required.
• Current BLS (AHA) and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 1.5 years Med/Surg or PCU experience.
• Proficient in post-surgical care and listed Med/Surg procedures.
• Telemetry monitoring, wound care, line/drain management, and tracheostomy care.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical Surgical unit within a hospital setting.
• Patients are post-surgical and medical, with telemetry monitoring as needed.
• Patient ratios up to 1:6; night shifts 3x12 hours (19:00–07:30).
• Floating to other MS units, ICU, and ED as needed.
• No on-call responsibilities; isolation precautions and proper wound care practiced.
