Cross Country Nurses seeks a travel nurse RN to float Med Surg in Fargo, ND. The role involves 12-hour shifts with 36 hours per week, starting 10/12/2026 and ending 01/11/2027, with license verification pending. Floats across multiple Med Surg units, including oncology, trauma, cardiac, and neuro, are expected.

Requirements include an active ND RN license (or compact), BLS, NIHSS, EPIC EMR experience, and PEARS/ENPC; prior float pool, trauma center, or 250+ bed hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active North Dakota RN license or compact state license.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• Minimum 1 year recent Med Surg experience in a large hospital.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• EPIC EMR experience.
• PEARS or ENPC qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care across Med Surg units as a float.
• Maintain patient safety and rapid assessment in a fast-paced hospital.
• Collaborate with care teams across oncology, trauma, cardiac and neuro units.
• Meet staffing and shift coverage with 12-hour shifts.
