Medix is seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist for a travel contract assignment supporting a premier health center in Boston, MA. The role involves performing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography, coordinating with radiologists and staff to deliver timely imaging services in a fast-paced outpatient environment.

Ideal candidates will excel under high volume, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and bring a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Active Massachusetts State License in Radiologic Technology / Mammography.
• Active ARRT (R) (M) and BLS certifications.
• Proven ability to make confident clinical decisions under high volume within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures per established protocols.
• Prioritize daily assignments efficiently in a high-volume outpatient environment.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and correct positioning/exposure settings.
• Collaborate with radiologists, clinical staff, and administration to ensure seamless patient care.
• Uphold quality control and radiation safety standards.
• Deliver empathetic, clear communication to maintain patient comfort and trust.
