Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 3-5 years of diagnostic breast imaging experience and ARRT/ARDMS breast ultrasound certification. The position requires MA mammography certification, BLS-AHA, EPIC EMR experience, and experience with McKesson PACS.

The role is 40 hours per week, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, in a fast-paced imaging center. Travel and licensure reimbursements are provided; candidates outside a 50-mile radius are preferred; ultrasound/biopsy experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of diagnostic breast imaging experience at an imaging center.
• 1 year experience using McKesson PACS.
• EPIC EMR experience.
• ARRT mammography and MA mammography certification required.
• ARRT/ARDMS breast ultrasound or breast sonography certification required.
• BLS-AHA certification required.
• MA license required if applicable.
• Experience with upright stereotactic biopsy and prone table biopsy strongly preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Mammography/Breast Imaging unit.
• 8-hour day shift, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, 40 hours per week.
• Perform screening mammography, diagnostic mammography, and mammography-guided procedures.
• Unit equipped with 5 machines including Hologic Selenia Dimensions systems, Hologic 3D systems, and Hologic affirm system.
• Breast ultrasound equipment includes Philips IU22 and GE Pristina.
• Uses McKesson PACS image archive system and EPIC EMR.
• Must demonstrate ability to seek supervisory or managerial assistance as appropriate.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered.
• Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a 6-month break before returning to any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility.
• COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccine required, with medical exemptions allowed.
