Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a community-based teaching hospital. ARRT Mammography certification is required, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and Epic experience within the past 2 years. Teaching facility exposure and a license if applicable are preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT Mammography certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of radiology experience.
• Teaching facility experience required.
• Epic experience within the past 2 years.
• License required if applicable.
• BLS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Community-based hospital mammography department with 2 dedicated mammography units.
• Procedures scheduled approximately 15 minutes apart.
• 9-hour day shifts with flexibility to work 8s or 9s as scheduled.
• 36 hours per week, Monday through Sunday scheduling.
• Uses Epic for documentation.
• Float within radiology, including fluoroscopy, OR, and off-site locations.
• On-call requirements apply, including holiday on-call coverage from 8a-12p.
• Must work 2 of the following 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year's Day.
• Works alongside a department of 40+ staff members.
• Performs routine mammography exams typical of a community-based hospital setting.
