Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Travel Mammography Technologist for Staten Island, NY. The role focuses on performing screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in collaboration with radiologists, using specialized equipment to produce high-quality breast images.

Qualifications

• Current License or Certificate in state where they will be working
• One (1) year of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to accurately communicate with patients
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
• Uses specialized X-ray equipment to take breast images
• Works with radiologists to interpret results
