Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc.-Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Staten Island, New York. The position runs for 13 weeks with 12-hour shifts and a 37.5-hour work week.

The Mammography Technologist will perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures using specialized X-ray equipment and collaborate with radiologists to interpret results, helping detect breast cancers early for better outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current license or certificate in the state where they will be working
• One year of experience as a Mammography Technician preferred
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with patients
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x‑ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulations
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
• Use specialized X-ray equipment to image breast tissue and work with radiologists.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout imaging exams.
