TotalMed Allied is seeking a Mammography Technologist for an 8-week travel assignment in Greenfield, IA. The candidate should have 1 year of Mammography experience and ARRT (M) with BLS, plus state licensing where required.

The role requires 36 hours per week across 9-hour days, with travel responsibilities to facilities in Iowa. The Mammo Tech will operate mammography units, ensure image quality, and coordinate with radiologists for interpretation while adhering to safety and documentation

We are looking for a Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Greenfield, IA. The right Mammo Tech should have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

As a Mammo Tech, you will be responsible for the use of a mammography unit and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for medical interpretation.

Tasks

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Conduct mammography study and maintain production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures, determining necessary adjustments for optimum results
• Develop mammograms, observe mammogram results, retake mammograms as required, and forward completed studies to radiologist for interpretation
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standard and procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARRT (M) National Certification with registration in mammography, and state‑specific licensing when required.

Mammo Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Mammo Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
