Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient setting requiring at least 1 year of experience and CA state licensure.

Details

• Outpatient mammography setting
• Average of 20 visits per day across 2 rooms
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential for 4x10 block scheduling for the right candidate
• Must be willing to work Saturdays
• Epic EMR preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• ARRT (M) certification preferred
• CA state license required; license required if applicable
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted
• Experience with 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, screening mammograms required
• Experience with fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy preferred
• Experience with Hologic 3D equipment required; Hologic Affim BX experience preferred
• Knowledge of radiation safety and universal precautions/core measures required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers considered with relevant experience
• Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities near the contracted facility
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• RTO requests limited to no more than 7 days and must be submitted upfront
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former employees may return after a 3-month waiting period
• 2 supervisory references required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
