American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a travel assignment in Leonardtown, Maryland. The role requires 2+ years of mammography experience and ARRT M and ARRT R certifications, with BLS and a MD radiographer license as applicable.

The position is a 13-week travel assignment, 40 hours/week, Days shift (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) in an outpatient setting, using Cerner EMR and Hologic 3D/AXB equipment. Prior travel experience and supervisory references are preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT M and ARRT R certifications are required.
• BLS certification is required.
• MD Radiographer license is required, if applicable.
• Minimum 2 years of mammography technologist experience within the last 7 years.
• Prior travel assignment is required unless full mammo competency is demonstrated.
• Cerner EMR experience is required.
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience is preferred.
• Two supervisory references are required, including one from the most recent assignment, supporting at least 2 years of experience in the previous 3 years.

Additional Information

• Flu vaccine required for all employees
• No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment

• Returning MedStar employees must have been separated for a minimum of one year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates accepted from within a 60-mile radius at a lower local rate
• Manager interviews are not guaranteed
