Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a Travel Mammography Technologist for Lakeland, FL. Immediate travel opening with 12-week duration and 40 hours/week. Start date 11/30/2026; 10-hour day shifts. Must have ARRT(M), BLS, state licensing where required and 1 year of Mammo experience. Travel assignment includes complete mammography studies and PACS workflow.

Salary is travel pay with shifts and potential tax-free stipend; housing may be arranged. This is a travel role through TotalMed Allied.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of Mammo Tech experience.
• BLS certification and ARRT (M) with mammography registration.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients providing reassurance and support as required.
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Conduct mammography study and maintain production and quality of mammograms by following established standards and procedures, determining necessary adjustments for optimum results.
• Develop mammograms, observe mammogram results, retake mammograms as required, and forward completed studies to radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

We are looking for a Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Lakeland, FL. The right Mammo Tech should have 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

Tasks

Requirements

• Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ARRT (M) National Certification with registration in mammography, and state-specific licensing when required.
• Mammo Techs should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Mammo Techs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
• Requirements*: BLS, ARRT (R), 3 Years
