Job summary

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist to join our partner hospitals in Boise, Idaho. This assignment runs for 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week on day shifts.

You will operate mammography equipment, explain procedures to patients, and maintain image quality under physician direction. Eligible candidates have a Mammography Tech National Certificate, an associate or bachelor’s in radiology, BLS, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Mammography Tech National Certificate required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in radiology preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Mammographic unit to produce breast images for diagnostic use under physician direction.
• Explain the procedure to patients and monitor scanning, adjusting equipment for best image quality.
• Perform additional duties within the scope of a mammography technologist.

Mammography Tech Contract Details

• $1,906 - $2,091 per week* estimated weekly
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• 40 hours per week

What You'll Be Doing

• Responsible for operating a Mammographic unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician
• Explaining the procedure to the patient, as well as observing the scanning process and adjusting the imaging equipment as needed for improved picture quality
• Additional duties and tasks within the scope of a mammography technologist
