Qualifications

• Mammography Tech National Certificate.
• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in radiology preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS.
• 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Mammographic unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under physician supervision.
• Explain the procedure to patients and monitor scanning to adjust equipment for image quality.
• Perform additional duties within the scope of a Mammography Technologist as required.

Mammography Tech Contract Details:

• $2,174 - $2,381 per week* estimated weekly
• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• 40 hours per week

What You'll Be Doing:

• Responsible for operating a Mammographic unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician
• Explaining the procedure to the patient, as well as observing the scanning process and adjusting the imaging equipment as needed for improved picture quality
• Additional duties and tasks within the scope of a mammography technologist
