Qualifications

• Perform mammography examinations independently within the imaging section.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct quality control and stay compliant with standards.

Responsibilities

• Operates imaging equipment including X-Ray, Mammography, and Bone Density.
• Reviews requisitions and sets up rooms and doses.
• Evaluates images for quality and repeats when necessary.
• Performs quality control per standards.
• Trains staff and students in procedures.
• Collaborates with other divisions to coordinate exams.
• Utilizes RIS, PACS, and HIS systems.
• Performs continuing education as required.
