Job summary

HRforGrowth is seeking a Mammography Technician for a 13-week contract in Buford, GA. The candidate must have at least 2 years of mammography experience, BLS, and ARRT Mammography credentials. Shifts are 8-hour days, Monday–Friday, with a weekly pay of $1800-$2040.

The role involves performing mammography imaging studies, stereotactic procedures, quality control, and support for biopsy and related procedures. Travel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in mammography.
• BLS certification.
• ARRT Mammography credential.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging studies.
• Perform stereotactic procedures and mammography quality control.
• Bone densitometry.
• Needle localization, ductograms, and lymph node injections as applicable.
• Assist physicians with biopsy and aspiration procedures using sterile technique.
• Evaluate images with Radiologist and identify areas needing additional imaging.
• Adjust mammography equipment and determine appropriate technical factors.
• Assess patients during procedures and report adverse events.
• Complete required documentation and charging functions.
• Follow ACR/FDA/MQSA requirements.
