Responsibilities include performing mammography imaging, stereotactic procedures support, quality control, bone densitometry, needle localization, and assisting physicians with biopsies, under radiologist guidance. The role requires a minimum of 2 years’ Mammography Tech experience and travel experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as Mammography Technician.
• Prior job related travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging studies.
• Perform or support stereotactic procedures and mammography quality control
• Perform bone densitometry
• Perform needle localization, ductograms, and lymph node injections as applicable
• Assist physicians with biopsy and aspiration procedures using sterile technique as required
• Evaluate images for abnormalities and identify areas requiring additional imaging with the Radiologist
• Determine appropriate technical factors and adjust mammography equipment
• Assess patients during procedures and report adverse events
• Complete required documentation and charging functions
• Follow applicable ACR/FDA/MQSA requirements
