TotalMed Allied is seeking a Mammography Technologist for an 8-week travel assignment in Greenfield, IA. The candidate should have 1 year of Mammography experience and ARRT (M) with BLS, plus state licensing where required.

The role requires 36 hours per week across 9-hour days, with travel responsibilities to facilities in Iowa. The Mammo Tech will operate mammography units, ensure image quality, and coordinate with radiologists for interpretation while adhering to safety and documentation

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist.
• BLS and ARRT (M) National Certification with registration in mammography; state licensing when required.

Responsabilités

• Confirm patient identification and explain imaging procedures to patients.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions for imaging.
• Conduct mammography studies; maintain quality of mammograms and determine adjustments for optimum results.
• Develop mammograms and forward to radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.
