Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Radiology Tech specialized in mammography for a travel assignment in Cumming, GA. Start date 11/02/2026 for 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday in a hospital-based radiology department performing outpatient breast imaging.

Required ARRT Radiography certification and BLS, with at least 2 years in breast imaging. Cerner experience preferred. Housing and recruiter support provided; travel assignments with holiday coverage are part of the role.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in breast imaging/mammography.
• Experience with Cerner outpatient imaging systems.
• Willingness to travel; 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday with holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform breast imaging procedures including mammography, ultrasound, and bone density studies; assist with breast biopsy procedures as needed.
• Ensure high-quality images through proper positioning, compression, exposure, and ALARA principles.
• Document orders, results, and patient data in Cerner; coordinate with radiologists and referring physicians.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control; monitor equipment and report issues.
• Educate patients about procedures and provide comfort during imaging sessions.
• Participate in holiday coverage and travel assignment scheduling.
