Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Midland, Texas. The role requires ARRT(M), BLS, and state licensing as applicable, with 36 hours per week and a 9-hour day shift.

Candidates should have 1 year of Mammo experience and be comfortable working in a travel capacity. Responsibilities include operating mammography units, ensuring image accuracy, and transmitting studies to radiologists for interpretation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required as Mammography Technologist.
• Must have BLS, ARRT (M) certification with registration in mammography, and state licensing where required.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients, review imaging requests, and explain procedures.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and conduct mammography studies following standards.
• Develop mammograms, assess results, and forward to radiologist for interpretation.
• Maintain patient records and ensure safe, secure work environment.
• Understand and use the PACS system.
