Sweetwater Care in Bakersfield, CA is seeking an LVN nurse with leadership responsibilities to oversee nursing care within the facility. You will ensure patient needs are met per standards, physician orders, and center policies.

Ideal candidates have prior nursing management experience and familiarity with SNF/LTC settings. The role involves coordinating care, education for families and patients, and collaboration with physicians on rounds.

Formación

• Licensed LVN in state.
• 1 year nursing management experience preferred.
• SNF/LTC experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Notifies other departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely and according to facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely and according to facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
