Qualifications

• Currently licensed LVN in state.
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred.
• SNF/LTC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Assists in identifying, placing, and monitoring patients in programs.
• Notifies departments of patient changes and new admits.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely and per policy.
• Administers treatments timely and per policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders as allowed.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
