Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Long Term Care is seeking a travel RN in Long Term Care for a 13-week assignment in Anamosa, IA. The role offers 40 hours per week, starts 09/26/2026, and competitive pay with a supportive clinical team.

In this LTC RN position you will assess residents, administer medications and treatments, monitor conditions, document care, and coordinate with physicians, nurses and therapists to ensure high‑quality, resident‑centered care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an RN in a long‑term care setting.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health, monitor for changes, and take action to ensure well‑being.
• Develop and update personalized care plans in collaboration with residents and families.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Observe for medication reactions or changes in condition and report to provider.
• Provide therapies including wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other skilled procedures.
• Supervise LPNs/CNAs and delegate appropriately.
• Educate residents and families on medications and chronic conditions.
• Document care and resident progress in a timely manner.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams.
