Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Long Term Care RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Grand Junction, CO. The RN will provide skilled nursing care in a LTC facility, oversee patient care plans, administer treatments, and collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care.

Requirements include one year of LTC RN experience, active RN license, and BLS/CPR certification. ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of recent RN experience in a long-term care setting.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health, monitor changes, and take action to ensure well-being.
• Develop and update care plans in collaboration with residents and care team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality care.
• Educate residents and families on medications and chronic condition management.
• Document care, progress, and health changes promptly.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and therapists for coordinated care.
