Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Long Term Care assignment in Bigfork, MN. This 13-week travel role offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, ASAP start, and licensure-compliant practice.

As a key member of the LTC team, you will administer care, develop plans, and collaborate with clinicians to deliver resident-centered services in a facility setting. Travel benefits and clinical support are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an RN in a long-term care setting.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health, monitor for changes, and act to ensure well-being.
• Develop and update personalized care plans with residents and care team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Observe for medication reactions or condition changes and report to provider.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, catheter management, and other procedures.
• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, delegating duties to ensure quality care
• Educate residents and families on medications and chronic conditions
• Document care, progress, and health changes promptly
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with medical teams
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other professionals for coordinated care
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
