Job summary

TerraBella Senior Living is seeking a Resident Care Specialist to oversee the Resident Care Department across multiple TerraBella communities. This role requires an LPN with a compact license and travel across TN, NC, SC, VA, KY, and GA to support DHWs and staff.

The position focuses on regulatory compliance, risk management, and staff training, with the potential to serve as interim DHW as needed. Strong leadership and clinical expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Multistate Compact Licensure as an LPN is required.
• Current experience in assisted living required.
• 5–10 years of nursing experience.
• 3–5 years of nursing management experience.
• Recent/current experience as Director of Wellness/Clinical/Nursing in Assisted Living required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the Community Resident Care Department and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Assist in recruiting and training Directors of Health and Wellness.
• Provide education and clinical expertise to DHWs and staff.
• Support audits, surveys, and action plans to minimize risk and liability.
• Maintain knowledge of state regulations and liaise with regulators.
