Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for a travel contract in Rose City, Michigan, working nights 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on a 36-hour week. The assignment is 12 weeks in a long-term care/SNF setting.

Responsibilities include resident assessments, implementing and evaluating care plans, administering medications, monitoring conditions, and supervising nursing staff. Applicants must have Michigan LPN/LVN license, 2+ years SNF/LTC, travel experience, BLS, and

Qualifications

Active Michigan LPN/LVN license at submission.
Minimum 2 years SNF/LTC experience.
Travel nurse experience required.
BLS certification required.
COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions considered case-by-case.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to an assigned group of residents during the shift.
Perform resident assessments and implement/evaluate individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments according to established standards.
Monitor resident conditions and report changes appropriately.
Maintain a safe and supportive resident care environment.
Supervise and guide nursing assistants and other support staff.
Follow facility policies, procedures, and applicable Nurse Practice Act requirements.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service and compassionate resident care.
Float to other units when needed and within areas of experience.
