Responsibilities

• Outpatient clinic setting encompassing General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Dermatology, and Bariatrics/Weight Management
• Dermatology unit focused on outpatient skin exams and treatments
• Clinic hours of operation are 8:00am - 5:00pm, scheduled as 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours/week
• Charting completed in Epic
• Floating limited to within the department only
• No weekend rotation, on-call, or holiday coverage required
• Support staff includes 1 CNA per unit, a charge nurse, and an on-site lab/phlebotomy department
• Responsible for scribing skin exams and supporting dermatology providers during patient visits
• Orientation length varies by specialty, typically 3-4 days
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Free parking available in designated areas
• First-time travelers will be considered if they possess appropriate dermatology and scribing skills
• Candidates must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must wait one full year before returning as a traveler
