Americare Senior Living is seeking a flexible and compassionate Support Nurse (LPN/RN) to provide resident care during short-term assignments across Assisted Living communities in Fairview Heights, IL. The role includes supervising caregiving staff and ensuring continuity of care while adhering to state regulations and Americare policies.

The ideal candidate will have an active LPN or RN license, experience in senior care, and strong clinical judgment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current LPN or RN license required.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability.
• Ability to supervise staff and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care to residents during short-term assignments.
• Support a home-like, person-centered care environment.
• Supervise and support caregiving staff to meet residents’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Assist with resident assessments, care planning, and monitoring of changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols.
• Collaborate with community leadership and senior leadership during assigned support periods.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Promote resident dignity, safety, and quality of life.
