Job summary

Americare Senior Living is seeking a flexible and compassionate Support Nurse (LPN) to provide resident care during short-term assignments across our Assisted Living communities.

In this role, you’ll render direct nursing care while supporting community teams during transitions, coverage needs, or additional support, under senior leadership.

Ideal candidates are licensed LPN or RN, with leadership experience, travel readiness, and a heart for delivering person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current LPN or RN license required.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents during short-term assignments.
• Supervise and support caregiving staff to meet residents’ physical, psychological, and social needs.
• Assist with resident assessments, care planning, and monitoring of changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
