Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an LPN for a night shift in a large long-term care facility. The assignment requires 1+ year of LTC experience and prior travel experience, with IV certification required for IV administration.

Requirements include a valid LPN license, current BLS (AHA), Mandatory Reporter Training, and Iowa dementia training. Shifts are 8 or 12 hours with 40 hours per week and a 50-mile radius rule.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license and license validity.
• Minimum 1 year of LTC experience.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Must have completed prior travel assignments.
• IV certification required to administer IVs.

Responsibilities

• Care for elderly residents in a 79-bed LTC facility with memory care unit.
• Maintain nurse-to-resident ratios as assigned; support memory care and general floors.
• Administer IVs only if IV certified; oversee meds per facility policy.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and hospital protocols for admissions and transfers.
