Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Nebraska (License to Submit: Yes)
- BLS Certification required
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric care preferred
- Proficiency with Point Click Care (PCC) or willingness to learn
Responsabilités
- Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents in a long-term care unit
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies
- Monitor vital signs and report changes promptly to the care team
- Document care activities in PCC EMR with accuracy and timeliness
- Assist with activities of daily living and mobility while promoting safety
- Collaborate with licensed staff, physicians, and families to update care plans
- Support shift handoffs and care planning; maintain a clean, patient-centered environment
- Adhere to orientation and shadowing requirements; no on-call or callback duties
