LLH is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team at the Willacy County Regional Detention Facility in Raymondville, TX. This role offers PM shifts (6pm-6am) with 8- or 13-week travel contracts and a starting pay of $38.00 per hour, with per diems for travelers.

Responsibilities include providing compassionate inmate care, dispensing medications, attending sick calls with physicians, and supervising nursing staff. Requires Texas licensure or compact license and BLS.

Formación

• LPN license in Texas or Compact Multi-License.
• BLS certification required.
• 1+ years of correctional nursing experience preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Apply nursing skills to inmate care and treatment.
• Dispense medications and document per policies.
• Attend sick calls with physician; prepare exam lists and rooms.
• Assess new inmates and refer to ER or appropriate care.
• Monitor inpatient hospitalizations and coordinate care.
• Supervise and mentor licensed practical nursing staff.
