Job summary

WSi Healthcare Personnel is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for an 8-week travel assignment in Carrizozo, New Mexico. The position offers $58–$62 per hour with 13-hour day shifts from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Weekday and weekend shifts are available. This hands-on LPN role involves administering medications, health assessments, and clinical documentation in a correctional healthcare setting. Mileage reimbursement is available for qualifying travel, and full-time employees have access to

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and complete medication passes.
• Assist with intake screenings and health assessments.
• Obtain vital signs and gather patient health information.
• Respond to medical concerns and emergencies, and communicate patient needs to the appropriate medical provider.
• Monitor ongoing and chronic healthcare needs and maintain clinical documentation, including paper MARs.
• Collaborate with healthcare and facility staff regarding patient needs.
• New to correctional healthcare? You don’t need a correctional background to be interested in this opportunity; if you have a strong LPN foundation and communicate well with providers, we’d like to talk with you.
• Must be 150 miles or more away to qualify.
