Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a travel assignment in Jacksonville, NC. The 8-week opening starts on 10/10/2026 and offers a weekly pay range of $1,048 to $1,109. Shifts are 12 hours, night shift (7:00 pm–7:00 am) in a long-term care facility setting.

Orientation and credentials are due by 10/10/2026 or ASAP. Guaranteed hours are not provided for this assignment. Requirements include an active NC LPN license and 12 months of recent LPN experience.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina LPN license.
• 12 months of recent LPN experience.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:00 am).
• Graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
• Orientation will occur during the first shift; credentials due by 10/10/2026 or ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy.
• Monitor resident conditions, document changes, and report to the supervising RN.
• Provide core nursing care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents.
• Collect specimens as directed and participate in routine assessments.
• Maintain accurate charting and records; uphold infection control and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to meet resident needs and respond to calls or changes in status.
