Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a travel assignment in Washington, NC. This 8-week contract is in a long-term care – nursing home setting with 3-11 pm shifts, weekly pay, and travel support.

Candidates must hold an active NC LPN license, have at least 12 months of recent LPN experience, be able to work evenings, and commit to every other weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months of LPN experience
• Ability to work 8-hour evening shifts in a long-term care setting
• Orientation provided at start; credentials due 10/10/2026 or ASAP
• Availability for every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor responses per plan and facility policy
• Perform nursing assessments, document findings, and report changes to supervising RN
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and provide compassionate care
• Provide wound care and routine clinical tasks within your scope
• Document care in the electronic health record and communicate with the team
• Collaborate with CNAs and staff for safe resident care and accurate handoffs
