Job summary

Healthforce Healthcare LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Washington, North Carolina. The 8-week engagement begins 10/10/2026 and occurs on a 8-hour night shift (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) in a long-term care nursing home setting. Orientation and credentialing support are provided by Healthforce.

Applicants must be licensed in NC and have 12 months of geriatric experience. Weekly pay ranges from $1,729 to $1,800 with no guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina RN license
• 12 months RN experience in geriatric or long-term care settings
• Ability to work the night shift (11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.)
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Willingness to complete credentialing by start date and orientation

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to geriatric residents, including assessments, monitoring, and timely intervention as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and care plans.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document nursing care accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records; report changes promptly to the supervising clinician.
• Maintain a safe environment, support fall prevention, infection control, and appropriate delegation of tasks to CNAs as required.
