Job summary
Healthforce seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a hospital-based travel assignment in Greensboro, NC. Start date is 11/04/2026 for 12 weeks with 40 guaranteed hours per week and 8-hour shifts.
Weekly pay is $1,383–$1,439, with start-to-finish support from a dedicated recruiter and assignment resources. Requires NC LPN license, CPR, 2 years of LPN experience, and EMR software proficiency.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in NC or applicable state
- Current CPR certification required
- Two years of LPN/LVN clinical experience; home health or hospice preferred
- Proof of Hepatitis consent/declination and TB vaccination
- Ability to use EMR/time-keeping software (Homecare Homebase)
- Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance; reliable transportation
- Must read/write/speak fluent English
Responsibilities
- Administer nursing care to patients under RN supervision per plan of care
- Monitor patient conditions, document outcomes in EMR, report to RN Case Manager
- Coordinate and implement patient care with RN to ensure quality outcomes
- Communicate with patients, families, and health care professionals; document interventions
- Assist patients and families with learning self-care; assess response to care
- Maintain infection control practices and OSHA standards; assist with admissions, discharges, transfers
- Provide end-of-life/hospice-related care support; on-call duties may be required
- Demonstrate professional nursing skills and maintain boundaries
