Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a skilled Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, assess health, develop care plans, administer medications, and supervise nursing staff.

The role emphasizes collaboration with residents, families, and clinical teams, documentation, adherence to safety standards, and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year recent RN experience in long-term care.
• Valid RN license and current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and computer skills.
• Physical ability to lift equipment and assist residents.
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and monitoring patient health changes.
• Implementing personalized care plans with residents and families.
• Administering medications and skilled procedures (e.g., wound care, IV therapy).
• Supervising LPNs and CNAs and delegating tasks.
• Educating residents and families on treatments and managing chronic conditions.
• Documenting resident progress accurately.
• Responding to emergencies and coordinating with medical teams.
• Ensuring safety, infection control and regulatory standards.
