Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Oxnard, CA. This role involves caring for mothers and newborns in the obstetric setting and requires strong clinical skills, teamwork, and the ability to respond to obstetric emergencies.

Start date is 10/12/2026 with 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and travel employment. A valid RN license, BLS, NRP, and relevant certifications are preferred to join our dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• RN license required in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• NRP Certification required.
• At least one year of Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Strong obstetric nursing skills and patient safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health and monitor during labor.
• Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards.
• Assist physician during labor, delivery, and cesarean sections.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and newborn assessment.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists.
