Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a travel assignment in Hickory, North Carolina. This role emphasizes care before, during, and after birth with a 13-week duration and 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts.

Requirements include an active RN license, a nursing degree, and BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications, plus 18 months of acute care L&D experience. Travel and housing benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide Labor & Delivery care to mothers and newborns before, during, and after delivery.
• Monitor vital signs of mother and baby and respond to changes.
• Educate families and support confirmation of normal delivery outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.
