Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Nursing seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Salem, Virginia. You will provide obstetric care, monitor maternal and fetal health, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Required credentials include 1 year of L&D RN experience, an active RN license, BLS, and NRP; STABLE and ACLS are preferred. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and travel-friendly support.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on postpartum care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and other team members.
• Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results.
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
• Document patient care and interventions in the medical record.
