Cross Country Nurses is seeking a Travel RN in Labor and Delivery for a placement in Hackensack, New Jersey. The position requires evaluating patients, assisting physicians, and coordinating maternal care during 12-hour day shifts across a 36-hour work week.

The role includes performing EFM, vaginal exams, OR circulation for cesareans, instrumental delivery assistance, and IV/phlebotomy. NJ license or compact license is required, with BSN/ASN and 1+ year L&D experience.

Qualifications

• BSN or ASN required.
• NJ state RN license or multi-state compact license.
• Minimum 1 year of labor and delivery experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with maternal care.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and document care.
• Perform EFM, vaginal exams, operating room circulation for cesarean sections.
• Assist with instrumental delivery and phlebotomy including IV insertion.
