Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a Travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Des Moines, IA. You will provide comprehensive obstetric care, monitor maternal and fetal status, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure safety and excellent outcomes.

The role requires 1 year of L&D experience, current RN license, and BLS; NRP certification is required or preferred. You will receive competitive pay and a supportive travel program with benefits throughout the assignment.

Qualifications

Recent Labor and Delivery RN experience required.
Valid RN license in the applicable state.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required; NRP preferred or required.

Responsibilities

Care for obstetric patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.
Administer prescribed medications and assist with procedures.
Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to emergencies per protocols.
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists, and care teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
Document care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
