Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Waterloo, IA. You will provide expert obstetric nursing care, monitor mother and fetus, and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to ensure safety and excellent outcomes.

Requirements include 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, active RN license, BLS, and NRP. Travel pay is competitive with benefits and support from a skilled recruiter, with start date 10/19/2026.

Qualifications

One year's recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.
Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to emergencies per protocols.
Administer medications and assist during cesarean sections and other procedures.
Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn care.
Document care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and nursing staff.
