Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Peru, Illinois. You will care for obstetric patients, stabilize newborns, and support labor and delivery workflows with a focus on safety and clinical excellence.

The role requires 2+ years obstetric nursing experience, active Illinois license, NRP/ACLS/BLS/EFM credentials, and the ability to work nights on a 12‑hour schedule. Float rotations and high‑acuity care are part of the unit.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois nursing license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated.
• NRP, ACLS, BLS, and EFM certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years obstetric nursing experience.
• Experience with stabilization of newborns and cardiovascular drips titration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients, including high‑risk cases.
• Stabilize newborns and manage labor and delivery processes.
• Participate in float rotations across obstetrics, NICU, and medical‑surgical units.
